Mudumu National Park is a national park in Namibia, Southern Africa, located in the Caprivi Region in the northeast of the country. Covering an area of 1009 square kilometers, it was established in 1990. The wildlife in the park mainly includes impalas, African elephants, buffaloes, kudus, sable antelopes, duikers, plains zebras, hippos, tiger fish, and honey badgers.
The Kwando River flows gently through the western edge of Mudumu National Park, providing abundant water sources for the flora and fauna in the park. Along the riverbanks are vast plains, floating papyrus swamps, and lush riverine forests. Away from the river, the park features mixed mopane woodlands, open grasslands, and typical African savannah, offering magnificent natural scenery!
Unlike other national parks in Namibia, Mudumu National Park has a private lodge called Lianshulu Lodge, which offers services such as tour guides, off-road driving, boating, and bird watching for visitors.
